2. Allow Time for Early Morning Distractions

Do you tend to start your morning quite slow? If until you get to the office, you’re not capable of doing anything, you’ll inevitably take time out of your work hours for those small early morning distractions that you feel the need to engage in. These can be anything from checking social media, to talking to co-workers, catching up with the news, and so on. You know what would be better? To arrive earlier to work in order to have extra time for these activities.

One of the main causes of unproductive mornings is lack of sleep. Not many people manage to get a full night’s sleep during the week, and this can lead to exhaustion if not remediated soon.

This doesn’t help with your productivity level, since you’re basically forcing yourself to wake up in a short amount of time. Try to become aware of yourself, of your mood, and of what you feel like doing that morning.

There’s nothing like an energizing tune to get you in a productive mood. Listening to music early in the morning is a great way to start the day. It will provide you with energy, make you feel good, and inspire you to get things done. The type of music you listen to is irrelevant, as long as you truly enjoy it, but more alert tunes tend to be more effective. Create a productive morning playlist, and then play it on repeat.
