If you are, people are more likely to respond to you and follow you.

#2. Diversified Funding’s president Mark Little advises you to always do what you think is the right thing. Even if a lot of people might not appreciate it. #4. Stan Kimer, the president of Total Engagement Consulting by Kimer, nicely explains the balance that you have to achieve as a leader. That individuality can help achieve the goal of the team.

Even more so, you have to use it for the greater good.

#6. Dan Schoenbaum, CEO of Redbooth, also weighs in on what it means to be a leader. He explains that, as a leader, you have to know when to lead and when to allow other people to lead. By comparing leadership with sports, he makes the point that a true leader knows that it is not enough to lead others. You also have to teach them to become leaders themselves and then allow them to exercise their skills.
