1. Relationship Issues
Regardless of the nature of the relationships, low self-esteem can negatively impact them. This is mainly because low self-esteem usually comes with the belief that you are not good enough for anything or anyone, and that includes both personal and professional relationships. If you behave according to this belief, it might put a strain on your interaction with other people.
2. No Development
Again, be it personal or professional, development should be an important part of your life. After all, each of us has the ability to grow and develop as they mature. But if you suffer from low self-esteem, this may put a stop to your development plans. You will never want to get out of your comfort zone and try new things, if you are already planning for failure. Most of the people who struggle with low self-esteem ask themselves: “Why should I even bother?”
3. Anxiety and Depression
If you constantly tell yourself you are not good enough, this will put even more pressure on you when you have to accomplish certain tasks. Which is why you might feel anxious constantly. But this can also lead to depression on the long run, if you internalize that feeling too much and stop yourself from doing anything that might bring you joy.

When you think you are worthless, it is quite hard to motivate yourself to take care of your wellbeing. You won’t pay that much attention to eating right, taking care of your body, or even sleeping as much as you should. You will focus all your energy on those negative feelings, leaving no room for what you actually need.
If you have already internalized the thought that you are never good enough, you will also tend to project this idea on the people around you. As a result, anything someone says to you, you will regard as criticism, attack, or negative comment. You have to remember that most often than not, this is not the case. In fact, those people are probably just trying to look out for you.
6. Trying to Please Everybody but Yourself
When you are struggling with low self-esteem, you will do almost anything to get people to like you. And since you don’t feel like anything is enough, you will get trapped in a vicious cycle of trying to please everybody. The most important thing you should remember is that you have to first of all please yourself. If you are satisfied with yourself, it will reflect on how other people see you as well.
