It works to strengthen relationships between employees and leaders, with the goal of having the company run smoothly. When employees are under stress, they tend to perform better if they feel like they belong to a company that appreciates and puts them first. However, you should be careful not to overuse this type of leadership. Employees might become unmotivated in the long run.
